Hey, you darn Dragoon (not quite the same spelling)! Cecil still trusts you but I don't. Anyway, what are the stats of this character? What does his equipment do? AND... you oughta put something in that white starburst on his banner pole. Looks empty as is. All jokes aside, well done! MY superior army CO will soon meet this soft mortal in combat.
He looks awesome. Your best-painted miniature yet. The detail work all looks really sharp and the banner cloth looks good. Is it shaded grey? I can't wait to see him in person. My Warboss (and his power klaw) will be looking to add that pretty banner and helmet to his trophy rack.
As Bill said, you'll need to do a little freehand to finish the banner and shield. I would do some practice on some scraps first. Freehand is hard for me. You might sketch it in pencil first and then go over it with thin black paint.
And like I said before, the conversion work looks so good and so natural that you forget that it is a conversion at all. Having a painted character and leader will really add that next level to your army in our next game.
But now it is your turn to add some background to the blog! Just like the old days of writing the next sentence of a story and passing it on, Bill and I have contributed and now it is your turn to add some background, flavor, fluff, whatever you want to call it to the story of the Xhorik War. It can be about your chapter, your captain, the planet or its people, my Orks, Bill's Nids, whatever inspires you at the moment. The beauty is that we keep adding to each other's thoughts.
