Recon Squad Chono, The Wolfpack

Like the stalking hunters they are named for in the Chogorian language, Recon Squad Chono specialize in encircling and bringing down larger prey with coordinated tactics. They slip unseen through the smoke and rubble of the ruins of Berat before striking at a time and place of their choosing. Their prey are battle tanks and their fangs are melta bombs.

Their lighter recon armor lets them move quickly and stealthily. They use a grey color scheme for camouflage in the ruins, rather than the stark white of their brothers

The massive melta bombs are their weapon of choice for disabling enemy tanks and fortifications.

With their vox caster, they can call in pinpoint airstrikes or artillery barrages on key enemy targets

They have taken to wearing the furs of fierce animals to help camouflage themselves as they stalk through the ruins. 

Brother Elder Uzaya is more than capable of leading half the squad when they need to split up.

Their furs and boots are covered in the dust of the ruined city of Berat.

Recon Squad Chono makes extensive use of grenades and melta bombs when they launch their surprise attacks against superior forces. 

Every member of the squad is loaded with enough weapons, ammo and supplies to operate independently behind enemy lines for extended periods.

Sergeant Qamar wears artificer armor that has has had modifications to enable agile movement, such as the more flexible boots, and has been painted grey to match the camouflage of the rest of the squad.

The squad does not only strike at tanks. Sometimes they need to kill sentries or disable key enemy infantry units so they also carry bolt pistols and large combat knives.

Qamar bears a mighty power fist to help break through defenses or disable key targets.
