Campaign Terrain Rules

All cover saves are for infantry. Vehicles use the Hull Down rules and must be at least 25% covered from the view of the firer.

Moving up and down counts as inches of movement. Moving up and down ladders, steps or open slopes counts as normal movement. Climbing up or down without a ladder counts as difficult terrain.

Ruins:
Visibility into/out of/through the ruins is limited to 6".
Entire base provides 4+ cover save.
Entire base is difficult terrain for infantry, dangerous for vehicles.



Red Rock Hills:
Provides 5+ cover save.
Reddish color is difficult terrain for infantry, dangerous for vehicles.
White color is open terrain. Road is open terrain.



Grey/Brown Hills:
Provides 5+ cover save.
Difficult terrain for infantry, dangerous for vehicles.


Fences:
Provide 6+ cover save.
Difficult terrain for infantry, clear terrain for vehicles.

Forest:
Visibility into/out of/through the forest is limited to 3".
Provides 5+ cover save.
Dangerous terrain for infantry and vehicles.


Rock Piles:
Provides 5+ cover save.
Difficult terrain for infantry, dangerous for vehicles.


Tires, Pipe Racks, Barrels:
Provides 4+ cover save.
Difficult terrain for infantry, clear for vehicles.

Roads:
Any unit moving on a road increases its movement by 1" for every 3" of movement the unit has.
For example, infantry can move 8" and a turbo-boosting bike can move 32".

Sector Mechanicus Industrial Terrain:
Provides 4+ save if behind barrier.
If on a catwalk, provides 6+ save against shots from the ground.
Counts as open terrain.


Pumping Station:
Provides 4+ save if behind barriers.
Being on roof provides 6+ cover save against shots from the ground.


Comm Tower:
Capacity of 10.
2 fire ports at door.
AV 13, HP 4.
Being on the roof provides 6+ cover save against shots from the ground.
Roof access from inside the building.
Special Rules: The controlling player can re-roll reserves (passed or failed) and can re-roll Deep Strike scatter results.


Outpost Bunker:
Capacity of 30.
Each window and each door count as 2 fire ports.
AV 14, HP 5.
Being on the roof provides 6+ cover save against shots from the ground.
No roof access from inside the bunker.


Ruined Cathedral:
Counts as ruin.
Units inside get Feel No Pain, or re-roll leadership tests?

All buildings are considered impassable terrain for vehicles but not for infantry.
